Historical background

The actual system of formation fallowed in the institute was first launched in the beginning of the university year 1991/1992 to replace the former Ecole Normale GAFSA which came into being in 1969 .This was so to better the educational system so as to respond to the needs of the new era, this later is characterized by the evergrowing knowledge and its means of acquisition. This is also concomitant with the introduction of the basic education system along with the reform of the Tunisian system of education.
